As a tie in with the final season of Stranger Things (part one of which is coming out November 26, 2025), Babybel has announced a new product: Babybel Hellfire Cheese Alternative. According to the announcement, the new product will be available from late October 2025 through January 2026 in limited supply.

This development is actually part of a larger trend in snack foods. As of late, there has been a trend towards the development of spicier snack foods. According to a report originating from Mintel, a marketing an research agency, 73% of consumers express an interest in spicier snack foods, with a bit less than 50% of American consumers strongly preferring spicy as a flavor profile.
